Opening Reception Summer Exhibitions 2023

Please join us on Friday, 9 June 2023, from 6 to 8 pm, for the opening reception of our upcoming exhibitions:

In our second-floor galleries, two new solo exhibitions are presented with The Fables of Sanbras by artist Kelly Sinnapah Mary, curated by Sour Grass; and Ooze by artist Lucy Beech. On our second floor artist Falke Pisano will also exhibit a research based project as part of our Anchored series, titled not / to be / governed like that / by that.

On the ground floor we present our newly transformed MELLY bookshop and café, by Tomas Dirrix, Koen Taselaar and Team Thursday’s Simone Trum & Loes van Esch.

The participating artists and our team look forward to welcoming you at Kunstinstituut Melly.
