Falke Pisano
Falke Pisano (NL, 1978) is an artist who lives and works in Rotterdam. Her practice spans sculpture, installation, performance, video work and artist publications. She often works in long-term research cycles that delve deep into specific subject matter and undermine conventional frameworks of knowledge by triggering a continuous exchange between language, ideas, materials and forms. Pisano’s recent exhibitions and research residencies include SUPERHOST, MuHKA, Antwerp (2022), Unboxing: Constructed worlds, Centre Pompidou-Metz (2019), Hollybush Gardens, London (2019), Ellen de Bruijne Projects, Amsterdam (2019) and many others. She participated in major groups shows such as the Venice Bienial (2009) and Manifesta, Trentino/Alto Adige (2008). She performed at Museo Reina Sofia, Madrid (2012), the 5th Berlin Biennale (2008) and Lisson Gallery, London (2007).
