The three Resonantie artists:
Logan Hon Mua is a black artist, performer and DJ who uses their art to question European ideals and break down boundaries. Through documentary, sound, sculpture, and performance, Hon Mua explores the layers of identity and resistance. Each piece they create is a statement of strength, embracing freedom and self-expression. Hon Mua creates spaces where voices can be heard fully, breaking free from fixed ideas. In doing so, their art shows resilience and opens new paths to liberation. Hon Mua graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and has recently shown work at the Melkweg in Amsterdam, the Cooper Union in New York, and during DJ sessions with techno influences.
S*an D. Henry-Smith is an artist working primarily in poetry and photography, and, by extension, vocal and sonic performance and publishing. They are the author of Body Text (2016), Flotsam Suite: a strange and precarious life, or how we chronicled the little disasters & I won’t leave the dance floor til it’s out of my system (2019), Wild Peach (2020), the co-author (alongside Imani Elizabeth Jackson, with whom they collaborate as mouthfeel) of Consider the Tongue (2019), co-producer of twill split (2024) with Tavish Timothy, and the director of Lunar New Year (2021).
TiSiTi is a trio composed of Tara Reece, Ceola Tunstall-Behrens and Tisa World, established in 2022. Based in Rotterdam, the three young femme artists create vocal pieces that they perform as a trio as well as with Singing Club Rotterdam (SCR), an experimental anti-choir. Through their composition and conduction work during the sessions with the club, they work with bodies, voices and language in site- specific situations, leading workshops and encouraging experimentation and vocal improvisation. With their shared love for collective vocalisation, they bring fun, empowerment and collectivity into the sonic space.
