CLIP Open House: Kunstinstituut Melly x IFFR

Live Free Entrance

This year, Kunstinstituut Melly will launch CLIP (Collective Learning in Practice) for a fifth time in March. CLIP is the successor to the institute's successful work-learn project that began in 2018 and includes four editions so far. CLIP participants have the opportunity to delve into issues surrounding art and culture and work with the team at Kunstinstituut Melly. Each edition provides a maximum of 10 participants with the tools, skills, and inspiration to grow as individuals, decision-makers and professionals.

In the fifth edition, we will work together to create a film script/storyboard that will later be produced into a short film by filmmaker Uriel Matahelumual. To form a concept for the film, participants will bring their grandparent/person older than 60 years to Melly to interview them. The stories shared will serve as research for the film. We ask ourselves: How do stories move us?

If you are interested in CLIP 2023, come to the CLIP Open House afternoon, where our curator collective learning Jessy Koeiman along with filmmaker Uriël Matahelumual and Suze van Bohemen & Eline van Zanten from IFFR will answer your questions.

Come along and maybe we will create this film with you! Already convinced? Sign up now through the open call. More information can be found here.
