Rosa de Graaf
Rosa is an art curator and researcher based in the port city of Rotterdam. Born and raised in London, she moved to The Netherlands in 2015, where she works as a curator at Kunstinstituut Melly. With a background in art-making as well as social and critical histories of art, her practice is informed by how she works with artists, and the environments and conditions they create together.
Alongside her role at Kunstinstituut Melly as Curator of Exhibitions and Commissions, she is a Board Member at Hotel Maria Kapel in Hoorn, and an advisor at the Jan van Eyck Academy in Maastricht, where she carries out regular studio visits with the participants seeking to nurture their experimentation and reflection. Previously, she worked at the Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam (SMBA), Tate Modern and Tate Britain, and the Henry Moore Institute, as well as for large-scale cultural campaigns such as ‘Art Everywhere UK’.
