Award Ceremony for the Prize for Young Dutch Art Criticism 2018

On Friday 14 December 2018, the Award Ceremony for the Prize for Young Dutch Art Criticism 2018 will take place. During this festive ceremony, held at Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art, Rotterdam, awards in the categories for Essay and Review (main prize €3.000 and a personal mentorship) and the Prize for Innovative Art-Critical Practices will be presented for this sixth edition of the Prize for Young Dutch Art Criticism.

The presentation will start at 4 pm, doors open at 3:30 pm. Afterwards a drink until about 7:30 pm. At the presentation the publication is presented with all the essays and reviews of the nominated authors. Speakers: Hicham Khalidi (director Jan van Eyck Academy), Ronald Ockhuysen (editor Het Parool), Heske ten Cate (on behalf of the jury for the Prize for Innovative Art Critical Practices) and Sacha Bronwasser (jury chairman PJKK2018 Essay and Review).
The Prize for Young Dutch Art Criticism is an initiative of De Appel Amsterdam, Witte de With CFCA Rotterdam, Mondriaan Fund, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, M HKA - Museum van Hedendaagse Kunst Antwerpen, Van Abbemuseum Eindhoven, Cobra Museum of Modern Art, Netwerk Aalst en M. M van Museum Leuven.
