Branka Zgonjanin

Branka Zgonjanin (aka Iskra Bela, 1980, Belgrade), is a visual and conceptual artist, performer and choreographer, herbalist and anthropologist based in Amsterdam. She holds an MA in Choreography from Theaterschool in Amsterdam (2011), and an MA in Anthropology from Belgrade University (2005). In recent years, Branka has been working in close collaboration with the plant world, and makes artworks which are hybrid forms of herbalism, ritual-performances/shamanism and “deep ecology”.
