Kateřina Šedá

Kateřina Šedá works and lives in Brno- Líšeň. She bases her work on the observation of “invisible” contexts and social relationships that unfold in her most immediate surroundings. The observations she makes, in the form of drawings, texts, and diagrams, prompt a series of assignments, tasks, and games which she carries out amongst her family and local communities. She has exhibited in 16th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice, the MMOMA, Moscow; Kunstmuseum Luzern; the Mori Museum, Tokyo; the New Museum, New York;Manifesta 7, Bolzano; the 5th Berlin Biennale; the Renaissance Society, Chicago; and Documenta 12, Kassel among others.
