Peter Busch
Peter Busch is a lecturer, researcher and journalist based in London, UK. His current research broadly focuses on the role of social media in war reporting and the historical perspective of propaganda and strategic communication. Busch has a PhD from the London School of Economics and Master’s degrees in Journalism (University of Dortmund, Germany) and International History (LSE). He currently holds a position as Senior Lecturer in the Department of War Studies, at Kings College London. Busch has published All the Way with JFK: Britain and the Vietnam War (OUP 2003); and regularly advises and collaborates with newspapers and broadcast journalists, most recently Dutch newspaper Trouw on propaganda and BBC Radio 4 program “Document”. Since 2007 he has been contributing to workshops of NATO’s Centre for Excellence, Defense Against Terrorism (Ankara, Turkey) and regularly gives presentations on media and terrorism at the NATO School, Oberammergau.
