Charlie Koolhaas

Dutch photographer and writer Charlie Koolhaas works and lives in Rotterdam. Koolhaas is an interdisciplinary artist, using photography, architecture and writing to create immersive landscapes or books that tell sociological stories. She did her BA in Sociology at New York University, and got her MA from Goldsmiths, London in Interactive Media. She has had recent solo exhibitions at Villa Stuck, Munich; and OMI gallery, Rotterdam. From group shows, notable mentions are Venice Biennale, Venice; and Shenzhen Biennale, Shenzhen among others.
