Louis Windzak

Louis Windzak, born in Suriname is a soul singer who has held the title "Soul Louis" for 55 years this year. In 1969 he won the song contest in Suriname and with it the title 'Soulgenius'. In 1984 he won Hennie Huisman's very first Soundmix show and has also performed in many bands. There was The Soulful Blues Quality from Haarlem, The Soul Stew in Den Bosch and many others such as The Louis Windzak Soulband and Doubble-U-Soul. Louis has been seen on national television on such shows as De Wereld Draait Door and The Voice.
