Kevin Gotkin

Kevin Gotkin (he/they) is an access ecologist. They are currently the Artist-in-Residence at Het HEM for Chapter4OUR: Abundance. Their work has taken the shape of classroom pedagogy (most recently as Visiting Assistant Professor of Media, Culture, & Communication at New York University from 2018 - 2021), community organizing (as Co-Founder of Disability/Arts/NYC with Simi Linton from 2016 - 2019), and access artistry (in ongoing stewardship of the REMOTE ACCESS party series that advances access techniques and disability culture). They received their Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018 and typically live in Lenapehoking (Brooklyn, NY).
