Nadav Harel
Nadav Harel (Haifa, Israel, 1970) is a Tel Aviv based filmmaker. He received his filmic education in School of Visual Arts, New York. Nadav took part as director/editor/cinematographer in several award winning films such as Chicken Hawk (USA, 1994), a documentary about pedophilia; Children of the Revolution (Israel, 1997), documenting the use of sagas and omens in Israel’s political arena; Area K (Gaza strip, 2000), documenting the impact of war on fish and fishermen in Gaza; Ecstacy, attack of the happy people (2003), documenting the flourishing ecstasy party culture in the midst of the Middle East bloodshed. Currently Nadav is working on SALT-white goddess, water over fire, a feature length documentary on civilization as if reflected through a grain of salt.
