Brice Dellsperger
Brice Dellsperger (b. 1972, France) is a Paris-based artist mainly working with the medium of film. His work deals with the concepts of body and sexuality. Large part of his work comprises the ongoing Body Double series, which refers to the use of body doubles in commercial feature films, and where he remakes a film (or a part of it) and re-enacts all the characters with transvestites. He studied Fine Arts at Nice Villa Arson, and became a visual artist in 1995. He has been a teacher at ENSAD (École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs), Paris, since 2003. His work has been exhibited at locations, such as MoMA (New York) and Centre Pompidou (Paris). He is represented by gallery Air de Paris in France and Team Gallery in the USA.
