Ho Rui An
Ho Rui An (b. 1990, Singapore) is an artist and writer living between London and Singapore, working in the intersections of contemporary art, cinema, performance and theory. His practice involves constructing new situations around existing aesthetic objects, through which notions of transmission, community and incommensurability are negotiated. He has presented projects at the Serpentine Galleries (London), LUMA/Westbau (Zürich), agnès b. Headquarters (Paris) and The Substation (Singapore). He is the Singapore desk editor for ArtAsiaPacific and has contributed to numerous catalogues and periodicals. In 2011, his first novel, Several Islands, was published by The Substation.
