Pablo Castañeda
Pablo Castañeda is a visual artist, born in Mexicali in 1973. Since his childhood, he has had a hearing impairment. He has a degree in graphic design from the Universidad Iberoamericana Tijuana and has been dedicated to art for 20 years. He is completely dedicated to the production of works of art, winning several local, regional and national biennials. He has participated in international exhibitions in the United States, Thailand, Germany, Denmark, Japan, France, China and other countries.
His solo exhibitions include Pablo Castañeda: Black and White Works, Steppling Art Gallery, Calexico; Pictures: Painting photographic and historical in Free plan Experimental gallery; My landscape: from the real to the abstract, Casa de la Cultura Mexicali. He participated in collective mural projects Mexicali’s Urban art at the Crocker Art Museum, Sacramento, California; Rescue and Artist Intervention of the Callejon Chinesca in Mexicali. He was part of the group exhibitions: We can be Heroes in an exhibition inspired by David Bowie at the National Liberty Museum, Philadelphia; California FLUXFEST 2020 at Building Bridges Art Exchange, Los Angeles; Glocal review TJINCHINA in CECUT, Tijuana; Radical Localism, New York.
