Melchior Jaspers
Melchior Jaspers (b. 1987, the Netherlands) lives and works in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He has a background in Art History and Business Administration. He is currently working as an Art Advisor for the State Architect (Rijksbouwmeester) and as an art historian. As an advisor for the State Architect, he is working on commissions with Kasper Bosmans, Martino Gamper, Francis Upritchard, among others.
Recently he curated the exhibitions: Speak, memory, with Meschac Gaba, Thomas Hirschhorn, Aernout Mik amongst others in W139, Amsterdam, NL (2019); A guest for lasting values with Anne Fellner, Sarah Księska, Zofia Pałucha, amongst others in Leipzig, DE (2020); Omina, with works by Folkert de Jong combined with ancient Roman objects at Valkhof, Nijmegen, NL (2021); World of Earth for Kunstfort Vijfhuizen, NL (2021). Currently, he works on several projects in Berlin, DE, and on an exhibition for the NGMA, Bangalore, India.
