María José Crespo

María José Crespo (1991) is an artist from Tijuana currently living in Rotterdam, where she studied a Master of Fine Art at the Piet Zwart Institute. Her work researches the porous space between territory, language, and body by questioning how she inhabits certain boundaries. She is interested in observing remains, glimpses, and the traces that administrative powers leave behind in territories without clear definition.
