Ensemble VONK

In VONK four musicians and a composer work together on new productions. The ensemble has a strong sound of its own due to its original line-up of sopranos, saxophones, clarinets, and percussion. Open-minded and groundbreaking, the ensemble has been building a new repertoire since its inception in 2015. VONK commissions composers and collaborates with theater makers and writers. By now, 40 compositions have been commissioned by the ensemble. In the fall of 2022, VONK will present its second album, A songbook of strange feelings, on the label SONNA Records, an innovative label founded by singer Sanne Rambags.
