Pauline Meurs
Pauline Meurs was one of the founders of various post-academic courses for managers and administrators in healthcare. These were brought together in 2003 under the banner of the then Erasmus CMDz. In 1999 she chaired the Health Care Governance Committee. Pauline Meurs was a member of the Scientific Council for Government Policy from 1998 to 2008. From June 2007 to January 2013 she was a member of the Senate for the PvdA. From 2007 to 2015, she was chair of ZonMw, the Dutch organization for health research and care innovation. From September 1, 2014 to June 2019, she was chair of the Council for Public Health and Society (RVS). As of October 1, 2019, Pauline Meurs is the new chair of the Quality Framework for the Care of the Disabled. Pauline Meurs was educated as a sociologist and organizational expert at the Erasmus University Rotterdam and the University of Leiden.
