Oemar van der Woerd

Oemar van der Woerd is a PhD candidate in the Healthcare Governance section of Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management (ESHPM). Since the beginning of 2021, he has been involved in the Academic Care Management Course in the role of Jr. program leader. His research focuses on the theme of shared management in healthcare. Oemar was trained as a health scientist at ESHPM of Erasmus University Rotterdam. In addition to his research on shared governance in healthcare, he enjoys teaching the master courses Governance & Strategy, Advance Research Methods, Comparative Health Policy, and the bachelor courses Philosophy of Science and Qualitative Research.
