Repelsteeltje

Repelsteeltje (NL, 1997) graduated in 2021 from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, the first city they really feel at home. Mainly active as an anarcha-feminist activist, their art focuses on maintaining and expanding their activist community. Their drawing "politie fasciste staatsterroristen" was published on the cover of the "Buiten de Orde" magazine; their recent publication "Talking to the police" was supported by Alert fonds voor Jongeren and published with help of Cultural Workers Unite. They also run the radioshow, "Sex with benefits", on Worm Radio, where they discuss subjects around sex and identity from an intersectional perspective together with a (for now) anonymous friend.
