Lara Silva Santos

Lara Silva Santos (BR, 2000) is a graphic designer from Brasília, studying graphic design at the Royal Academy of Arts, The Hague. She is an artivist that, through graphic design, resists the norms of visual language with multidisciplinary interventions that convey collective, affective, and ancestral narratives. Her practice involves the investigation of creative processes such as rituals of liberation and expression. In her research, she seeks ways to break down disciplinary boundaries between dance and graphic design, with a view to the body as politician, messenger, prophet, and healer. Her aim is to create collaborative platforms that give voice and support information generated by different experiences.
