Elisa de la Serna Gallego
Elisa de la Serna Gallego (ES, 1999) is a multidisciplinary artist based in the Hague. She has a background in graphic design and political sciences, merging theory and practice in her work. Queer theory and improvisation inform her process. Consequently, her work is deeply rooted in knowledge acquired through the moving body. Movement is taken as the starting point, a collective ritual with the potential to heal and surface neglected stories. Some words to describe the state of her practice now: storytelling, contact, moving image, trust, illustration, community, affect, context and performance.
