Kim Tran

Kim Tran is a registered Zhong acupuncturist based in Bijlmer Amsterdam. She draws upon expertise in Chinese Medicine from her ancestral family practice and infuses this with her education. Kim takes an intersectional perspective of well being including the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. 

Kim graduated with a Master's degree in Psychology from Universiteit Utrecht and a Bachelor's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Shenzhou University. Previously Kim worked in international roles in the Pharmaceutical industry and Tech, currently, she works in media. She has worked, lived, and traveled across countries and uses her experience and intercultural awareness in her practice. She combines a western perspective with the east to make ancient healing modern. 

She believes in equality and inclusion within health and social care. And finds it very important in her practice to acknowledge and value people's differences and to give them the support catered to their background and needs. She aims to create awareness about self-care in communities that need this and wants to show them that they have the right to self-care and to look after themselves and each other.
