Karina Villafan

Karina Villafan (BR, 1992) is an artist from Rio de Janeiro city, based in Amsterdam since 2017. She studied contemporary dance at the Angel Vianna School of Dance in Brazil and later obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Choreography at the School for New Dance Development in the Amsterdam University of the Arts, 2021 (AHK). Karina is a choreographer, performer, teacher, and cultural worker, working in contexts such as artistic residencies, educational projects, and independent spaces focused on performing arts and critical thinking.
