Lena Longefay
Lena Longefay (1996) considers her practice as a composition, a constant research process of shaping and sharing. Always wondering why and how art is being made, she is interested in feminist doings, she works also with religious, domestic, pop culture, or institutional representations. She is at the moment reflecting on friendships as transformative relationships, generating communities where art-making makes sense. She works with installations gathering sculptures, writings, found images, drawings, sounds, objects that sometimes are animated through lecture-performances. Currently based in The Hague, she graduated in 2021 from the MA Artistic Research of the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, The Netherlands. She obtained in 2018 a BA degree in Fine Arts from the Ecole Supérieure d’Art et de Design of Grenoble, France
