Afra Eisma
Afra Eisma (b. 1993, the Netherlands) lives and works in Den Haag, the Netherlands. She studied Fine Arts at the Royal Academy of Arts, the Hague, and Central Saint Martin’s, London. Using craft techniques in novel ways, the artist explores and manifests personal stories through immersive and intimate installations of textiles, sculptures, and ceramics. Inspiring her works, are characters or imaginary friends that interweave sensuality with an intended lightheartedness. Alongside her artistic practice, the artist is involved in various activist initiatives here in the Netherlands.
