OPEN CALL for a performance with Jennifer Tee and Miri Lee

As part of the solo-exhibition Still Shifting, Mother Field at Kunstinstituut Melly, Dutch artist Jennifer Tee is staging a performance developed with Korean improvisation choreographer and dancer Miri Lee.

The choreography will involve lying down and has an emphasis on subtle movements of arms, legs, and breathing. The performance duration will be one hour maximum, each performance day. Selected dates of the performance are available below.

The performers are required to have professional contemporary dance performance experiences, a strong personal movement quality, and a high interest in some improvisational assignments in the gallery space. The performance will be an ongoing presence in the exhibition space and interacts with the artworks on display.

Fees

600,- Euros for rehearsals (4 × 4 hours)
2,100,- Euros for the total of 14 performances
