Documentary CLIP #3: 2020-2021
In 2020, six graphic designers were commissioned to design the new visual identity of Kunstinstituut Melly in Rotterdam. During this time period, the designers were enrolled at Werkplaats Typografie at the ArtEZ University of the arts in Arnhem.
Together with instructors at Werkplaats, and in partnership with the design firm Wkshps, the six designers explored with a team at Kunstinstituut Melly what our graphic identity should communicate; what it should be; and how it could look and feel.
It was an experiment and the outcome of Kunstinstituut Melly's third edition of its Work/Learn Program.
